for Single Pipelines
- Each pipeline has got a nice name, depending on its function and goal.
Example: Plastic Bottles Creator Pipeline - Each pipeline consists of several process scripts, one or more highway bash scripts and only 1 start bash script.
- Each pipeline has to be started in the following way:
bash Start[ pipeline name ].sh
Example:
bash StartPlasticBottlesCreatorPipeline.sh - When the pipeline is eventually started, the user has to answer questions for giving the right input to the pipeline.
- Each pipeline has a 'Show Usage Information' in its start bash script.
- Showing the 'Show Usage Information', the following has to be typed:
bash Start[ pipeline name ].sh -h
Example:
bash StartPlasticBottlesCreatorPipeline.sh -h - From the Linux terminal - from Bash - other scripts or programs are started.
Bash is the so-called highway. - It is forbidden to start another script or program from a different environment. It is only allowed, if the script has a advantage in its process itself.
